St Paul’s Church

St Paul’s church is a Baroque-Doric 18th Century church located in the heart of Cospicua. The first stone of the church was laid by Archbishop Paul Alphéran de Bussan on 11 August 1735, in the presence of the clergy of Cospicua. The construction of the church was completed in 1740 and was blessed in 1741. The church is located on the same site of an older church built in 1590.
